I've been getting strange texts and phone calls from random people in Canada so I dialed *#62# and apparently I have call forwarding that I don't want. Also, I can send text messages out to my friend but I cannot receive them. They goto someone else. Finally, my friend receives texts from MY lucky phone number but they're from someone else. What do I do to fix these issues? Much Thanks! Namaste

Hi there @AngerIncarnate89
Thank you for your post.
You can try dialing these codes in your chosen calling app. Enter #61#, call, and then listen for a message or check for an on-screen notification. Once confirmed, you'll repeat this process with #62#, and then again with #67#.
Another thing to check out would be your calling settings in your phone to ensure it is not set to ignore private callers and your reject/block list.
We also suggest going in your phone settings and manually reset your network settings and complete a phone restart (fully power off and back on again).
Looking forward to hearing back.

I tried all 3 codes and it said mmi code then it confirmed the disabling of call forwarding. But when I checked in the settings it was still forwarding to that number... When I did a google search on that number it's got a lot of complaints about being a robo call or something like that. I bought this phone brand new at Canadian Tire and I got the SIM card from Hailey H at Walmart so I don't know why it keeps forwarding to that number. Ok, the text messaging thing I'm using the default messaging app that came with the phone. When I checked a setting on incoming messages it said I was getting them but they don't appear on my phone.. help lol.

Hi,
I have an issue that started this morning with my phone not being able to receive calls. The inbound calls to my phone would give an "This number is not in service". I contacted Lucky Mobile and they (eventually) determined my phone was forwarding calls to another number (no idea which number). They sent me a dial code (I believe it was ##21#) to disable call forward.
I've since checked *#61#, *#62#, *#67#, *#004#, *#002# - and they all list a 647 area code number. My call history in the Lucky Mobile portal shows a ton of call transactions with this number.
I called this number and it just goes to a voicemail inbox that is not set up.
I've found other Lucky users in forums that have found the same, but no real root cause/reason has been explained.
I very much value security of my devices. I've disabled all the forwarding I've found, will be wiping my device, and potentially switching carriers as all instances I've found on this issue seem to be related to Lucky only, with no explanation?

Hey JF1989,
Dont worry, I am here to answer your security concern you have with Lucky Mobile.
Now, you will be very surprised to hear this!!!!!
The number you see (starting with+1 647), is YOUR VOICEMAIL number. Ha Ha Ha. So how it works is, its not an unknown number which your calls are forwarded to thinking that someone might breach your privacy. That number is that number which your calls will be forwarded in case you are unable to answer the call, and that service is very commonly known as VOICEMAIL.
So even if you call that number it is simply calling your own voicemail, where you can set-up or listen to the messages someone have sent while you were unable to pick their call. That is also the reason that your call log shows the transactions with that same number, as the voicemail number is use many times a day for me if I am not available to pick up the phone.
Solution - No need to worry about any privacy concerns regarding this number. All mobile operators has to have the voicemail number attached to it and so does Lucky Mobile. Keep enjoying the Lucky Mobile service as normal.
😁
