If you do not have enough funds in your account to cover your Total Monthly Charge (Plan + Add-ons) on your Monthly Charge Date, your service will be suspended. 

If you fail to make a payment for four consecutive months, your account will be deactivated automatically.

my phone is on a $15/mo with no automatic recharge. 

how long does the account last without any recharges?

If I don't top-up on my renewal date, will I have to buy a new SIM card when I have the funds?

When I log into my account to downgrade my plan from the $25/mo plan to the $15/mo plan during the months I am outside of Canada (which I successfully did last year), the only changes I am being offered to make are upgrades to more expensive plans.  However the $15/mo plan still shows up on the general website.  I am out of the country and am unable to get in touch via phone as it only wants to call back my Canadian number which has no service where I am.  The Live Chat is unavailable.  Any suggestions?   Or, does anyone know just how long I am able to suspend my account for?

Hey NJW,

Lucky Mobile recently have updated few things for the $15 plan starting from Oct. 20, 2023.

$15 plan is now available for only new activations, and that means that existing customers can not downgrade to $15 plan. Even if you go to the plans section at the website and scroll down where it displays all the plans, the $15 plan has a note that says, "New Activations only".

You can still switch to $25 plan instead.

If my account was suspended is there anyway I could get back my old number?

Hi, I am currently on a prepaid plan and will be out of Canada for about 3 weeks.  Is it possible to put the plan on hold and re-activate it when I am back.

ie: my plan renews on the 8th of each month.  I am leaving on the 3rd and coming back on the 25th.  Can I not pay my plan on renewal, then pay the account on the 25th and move the renew date to the 25th?

Is it possible to retain my prepaid account and phone number without topping up?  If so, for how long?  Thank you.
