Top-Up Card Issue - Code Already Used

So I bought a top-up code but when I go to enter it on the website and on the phone it says that the code has already been used despite it being, allegedly, a new code. Why is this happening?

In the instance that you were sold a Top-Up card that doesn't work, you will need to return to the point of sale with the receipt to get it verified.

bought a 50 dollar calling card  but it is not recognized  how can i varify  from my receipt  can t get anyone on phone

After I bought the 50$ top-up paper the store prints out I came home and noticed that the 16 digit pin to enter,I couldn't see the last 8 digits of the pin cause when it got printed out it didn't show on the paper properly,,went to the store and they said nothing they can do and to get ahold of your provider,,,just hoping I didn't waste 50$ for nothing...please help me..I still have the top-up paper aswell..
