Change Existing Number With a Port In number While Keeping Existing Plan

I am an existing lucky mobile user. Lets say my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. I own another number yyy-yyy-yyyy with another provider. I wish to change my existing number xxx-xxx-xxxx but instead of being allotted some random number i wish to change it to yyy-yyy-yyyy (by porting it in to lucky). The reason i want to do this is that i have a very good plan with extra recurring data which is not available now for new subscribers.

 

Is it possible ?  Can someone guide me with the process ?

While waiting for someone to reply, I ported in my number from another provider yesterday.

The process was super smooth.

Now i understand that i can change my number anytime with a number of my choice by porting it in. 🙂

I'm porting my number out to a different carrier. But I still have $50 of credit in my lucky Mobile account, my husband wants to take over my unused lucky account and port his virgin mobile number over to it. 

 He may keep the service after that. Would that work or could we run into problems with him porting to my account? We have the same last name if that helps with the account switch.

Thanks for the solution. But I have one more question. Can I replace my current Lucky Mobile number with a Port In number myself while keeping my current plan? I am specifically interested in whether I can do this myself through my online account or do I need to contact technical support for this?

If I can do it myself, is there a detailed instruction for this?

Hi! Thanks for your reply. Can you write more detailed instructions for this? I have a current Lucky Mobile number. Do I need a new SIM card to transfer the number and keep the current tariff plan? Or can the number be transferred using my current SIM card?
