Is there any way to access the 40gb promo for existing customers? Would love to access it without having to buy a new SIM card etc.

Why do you not allow your loyal customers the option of choosing the new $29 & $35 plans?

Why do new users get 3.5 gb of data for the same $25. I get. I guess I will just buy a new sim card and setup a new account. I hate when companies do this. Give new users deals that users who have been in the system since close to day one do not get.

I currently have my son on the basic Talk & Text ($15/mnth) plan that has since been discontinued. I wanted to change his plan to the $19 which basically gives you 1GB of data + the Unlimited Talk & Text.
Lucky won't give me the option to upgrade to that plan and forces me to only select the more costly 5G higher tier plans. But when I log out and check the plan options again, *boom* as plain as day - the option to select the $19 plan is right there and available!
Why is this happening?

Hi,
There is quite a difference in the amount of Data in the "new," or current mobile plans compared to the plans from years and years ago. Yet, these new plans are only available to "new," customers.
Are there any plans (he he) to make these new plans available to 'old,' and loyal customers.
An example would be the old plan at $25 dollars for 500 MB (Yes there is also quite a bit of bonus Data) and the new plan at $27 (two extra dollars) for 25 Gb (20 + 5 bonus). That is quite a big difference for not a very different price yet this seems unavailable to existing customers.
Any info about this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Can anyone explain why as an existing customer can't get the same packages as Lucky offers to new customers? I understood the competitive mind set for forcing a switch when Canada was basically incumbent Telcos, but why now? It seems odd that I have to switch to yet another provider before I can get a better deal at Lucky. This has happened before with only Virgin allowing me access to the same packages. If you have to switch providers, why would anyone think you would automatically go to another Bell company?
Most people expect better packages are intended to expand market share. This means you need retain what you have, not encourage them to consider a Telus owned company. How about an offer from Lucky in my text instead of just your friends at Bell?
Thanks

I've been a Lucky Mobile customer for several years and I'm honestly extremely disappointed.
For a long time, I was paying $40/month for my plan. At some point, Lucky changed their plans and the same features became available for $35/month, yet my account continued being charged $40. As far as I can tell, I've been overpaying by $5 every month for a very long time—possibly over a year.
Now I've logged in again to review my options, and I see there's a new plan available for $30/month that includes 20GB of data. Meanwhile, I'm currently paying $35/month for only 10GB. It's frustrating to realize that loyal customers can end up paying more for less service simply because they aren't constantly checking for plan changes.
A few months ago, I contacted customer service about this issue. I was told someone would reach out to me, but nobody ever did.
I've recommended Lucky Mobile to friends and family over the years and have personally referred several customers, including my mother. At this point, I'm seriously considering switching providers and encouraging my family to do the same.
Has anyone else experienced this? Were you able to get any credit or reimbursement for the months you were paying more than necessary for the same service?

Pre-paid service providers like Lucky = no refunds.
What you can do to get a current/better $ per GB plan is to port out to another cell provider and then port back to Lucky.
