Hi there, @Keith. Welcome to the Community.

Yes, you can keep your phone number with a new SIM. You'll need to visit in-store with a valid piece of photo ID for assistance. Check out our Support page on Lost or Stolen PhonesOpens in a new tab or window for your options when losing your SIM card or phone.

Let us know if you have any further questions. 🙂

During account creation my new Lucky SIM card failed to activate, the web site got confused and sent me back to step 2 (I think it had got to step 6) after it had already asked about transferring my number and my old supplier sent me a text asking to transfer the number. The account was setup though and it looks like the number transferred but it's using my previous SIM card not the new Lucky SIM. I cannot change the SIM as it wants me to send me a text with a code which I cannot receive. Help!

I have an active account but am out of Canada so no coverage... and I lost the SIM card somewhere.

My daughter is in Canada and I want her to use my number in her extra phone - mostly so I can do SMSs.

How can I get my SIM replaced. Can I get it replaced with an eSIM? The number/account has to be in my name. Can I have my daughter go to a Lucky store and get the same number? She's in GVA.

Okay I just replaced sim chip.  Rebooted the phone, waiting to see connect to network Having issues.

I lost my SIM card and just purchased a new one. What should I do?

I need a new SIM card I lost the old one

Lucky app wants to text 4 digit code to phone that destroyed in fire

  • I haven't used my account since Feb due to the police having my phonce  and all of my banking etc are linked to my number and I can't retrieve any of my logins and I'm on house arrest so I can't leave my house by law. And every number I give them to check that I freakly dialed they denied. I verify everything and I top up  and that still won't activate my number .I top up twice by mistake and was told refunded and wasnt well why would I be able to pay for services and not even able to use them

That doesn't sound good. At least you can send e-mail, or you have been able to post a message here.

My own solution (and I'm not saying this is easy) is to always have TWO phones on hand - two separate SIM cards, separate accounts, and identical, old phones. I have an elderly friend who was having trouble with other cell phone service providers, so I bought her a gray market model of her kind of phone and I pay for a Lucky Mobile account for her. So she has a "back up phone" at all times. Ditto my partner - she has a Lucky Mobile SIM card and account to back up her Bell Canada "land line" which is very strange - it's tied to her TV and internet access via an incomprehensible modem.
