I want to change plans, but the automatic recharge happened today

I didn't remember that the renewal of my current plan was automatic, the renewal happened today, but I was wanting to change to a cheaper plan. How can lucky help me? What needs to be done? Or yet, how can I make this change without loss?

Once a billing period is initiated, all rate plan changes are scheduled for your next monthly charge date. In the instance that you choose to make the changes prior your next monthly charge date, you will need to forfeit your current plan in order to trigger and pay for your new selection.

I used Lucky mobile from Dec 20, 2022 with $15 monthly plan, on Jan 19,2023 I topped up and updated my plan to $40  with 5G data, today (Jan 19,2023) it can’t take effect? It has to come into effect on 20 of each month ?

I am looking to downgrade my plan but since Lucky doesn't pro-rate I don't want to downgrade it until close to the new month.

Since they tend to take funds prior, would you recommend 3 days prior? 5 days prior? to change the plan to ensure I get the best bang for my buck on current plan while not being charged double because I cancelled too close to new plan?

We find ourselved looking at the price plan’s before exchanging Lucky mobile for another provider. It seems now for forty dollars or thirty-nine there are some decent option’s with endless provisions in seems of data. 
Totaling thirty seven dollars I have three dollars left in my balance. 

Only issue I require assistance with is changing my monthly plan from a choice I made (totalling 37 paid for my current plan but wishing to choose a “39$” price plan it tells me I do not have enough funds 3$ is the remainder)

 

so 37$ plan currently added today

”39” and/or 40 $(s) price plan to be current and active monthly price plan. It displays the message that not enough funds are in the account, to top up if I want to use this plan.

Already spent thirty seven nee plan is thirty nine and I have three dollars.

 

Please assist me in getting to update my price plan.

 

(unless a tax inspired calculation is the missing key as to why this isn’t working. Then I am in awe at why the system is malfunctioning.(I will double check the purchase details of todays transaction and if I made a mistake I will update this post or delete it altogether thank you. ((May be a useful example if it is a small tax calculation for examples in your help catalog/but I am in belief it is system bug or fil’ me in on the detail(s) I myself cannot provide)

Be careful when you upgrade plans.

Eg 1. Lets say you have a $ 40/month plan that starts on the first of the month.  If you decide to upgrade on the 2nd of the month to the $50 plan you will lose the original $40 and then be charged about $48.50 on the 2nd ($50 prorated for 1 month minus 1 day).   You will not get a refund for the $40 or any portion of it.  Absolutely no refunds.  

Wait until the last day of your monthly start date to upgrade.  I know from experience. 

My charge date is on 20th, and I wanted to go from $29 to $35 and my top up had already occurred and wanted to change the plan immediately rather than a month later, then it prompted me to make another payment of $35, is this the norm? So I can't make changes by just paying the difference? ($6 in this case)

Topped up my lucky account with 50$, payment went through and got the 29$ data plan for about 2 minutes, then because I wanted to switch my plan to something better (the 34$ plan) I clicked on it and pressed the save changes button with it showing that it will do that plan February. Then I lost the 29$ data plan and was left with 18$ in my account and my account suspended until top up. Even after getting the 29$ data plan confirmed. My account record clearly show the payments going through. Is there I way I can actually get the data I payed for? Or did a glitch from lucky end up taking my money forever.

I was topping up my account and changed my plan this weekend, and I ended up being billed for both my old and the new plan. I have been in contact with first the chat help, that told me that, in the future, it is better to change the plan first and then tip up the account afterwards. The employee in the chat also put me in contact with an employee by phone that reassured me that the double billing should straighten itself out so I that I will not end up paying for two subscriptions to the same phone number and that some of the money should be returned to my balance. 

Are there someone who knows when this will happen? Or is it just bad luck and I have ended up paying for two subscriptions to the same phone number this month?

Need help with my plan I only can afford 25$ this month not 50$

Hi ,

i just top up my account with the required amount to remove suspension ,my account was suspended, as i didn't have enough money coz i recently got seriously injured in accident lost job n cant work . So coming to point  after that(top up and suspension removed),i look to change my plan to 60 Gb plan ,coz i saw before two time that i was getting 50 gb for the same amount where as it was showing no 50 gb ($34) plan in all plans ,instead,there was 60 gb ($34) . But today i checked it was 60 gb ($39) , its okay i thought i will pay $39 . So i chose the plan and evrything done. I checked sim  towers ,was showing SOS, then i put on airplane mode and started still nothing,even after turning off,  nothing.Then i read in the pending section that changed plan will take effect after 1 month from today . I got so annoyed nd dissappointed,like why?if i changing in already running plan then i can understand ,but after suspension of 20 days ? Come on ....

why would someone pay the bill ? OR why people pay bills for everything? So that they can get the service from that provider instantly to which they payed . But here you pay and you wait too ...not even 1,2,5,10 days ,but a whole month ,30 days more ..

i hardly managed ,somehow, the bill money so that i can use my phone(calls)or data ,coz here where i live there not good WIFI or internet facilities/services. No fibre cables or connection ,for any company to connect modem. So life been really hard recently, if you just have to stay home or even at bed all time .The only thing you can do is watch tv play video game or use your phone .
But here they go , idk im really unhappy and dissappointed with this thing or service.

All im asking that ,is there anything that you can do?OR can i cancel the changed plan ?  So that i can use internet or my phone as i need to call backhome everyday in this hard time.IM NOT ASKING FOR REFUND ,BUT PLEASE IF THERE IS ANY WAY I CAN HAVE SIM/PHONE/DATA SERVICES BACK . I will be more than thankful to you .SORRY FOR THE LENGTHY ESSAY , but requesting please do something to help me ASAP.
