Data service for 3rd party Netgear Aircard 763S

I recently started a data only plan for my Netgear Aircard 763S. I checked Lucky’s device compatibility function by entering the IMEI for the device and all checked out ok. The device is unlocked however I cannot get data service. Are there some other settings I need to change? Thanks

Hi there @Fluffinator.

Thank you for your post.

While we understand the confusion, Lucky Mobile only supports mobile smartphones and not hotspots such as the Netgear Aircard 763S.

Clarification: While Lucky mobile does not support hotspot devices, if the device is compatible (using Lucky’s compatibility check - link in other post) then the customer is free to configure their own device using resources available elsewhere.

So the question then becomes: Why does Lucky’s own device compatibility checker (below) still say my device is compatible ?

Device compatibility

Our SIM cards are compatible with just about any phone – check if your device is compatible.

Hi,

I need a little expertise here.

I'd like to buy an outdoor LTE Wifi router that says it supports:

  • KuWFi 4G LTE 4G CPE Router supports 4G SIM card. Mainly applicable to Canada for Telus/Bell/Fido/Freedom/Koodo/Public/Rogers/Virgin Mobile.
  • US version B2/B4/B5/B12/B13/B17/B18/B25/B26

Will this work with Lucky Mobile?   or ?

Thanks~!

I am wondering if anyone else has tried using a Lucky SIM in a laptop. My laptop is equipped with a SIM slot and I can see that it is recognized by my laptop, however, it won't connect and says I need to contact Lucky Mobile. I figure it's probably not compatible but wanted to give it a shot anyway. I've tried searching through the posts of others but nothing comes up. Just trying to find an inexpensive way to work in the field without having to hotspot off my phone.
