Why does it keep saying that my credit card is not valid? Everything I've entered is correct. Is Visa Credit card not accepted?

Has anyone reading this ever had this issue? No matter what my wife or I do, neither the Lucky Mobile site or app accepts any of the credit card or debit card information we submit to pay for my plan, and we've tried numerous times. Frustrating. I guess, as inconvenient as it can be for me to go the Eaton Centre here in Toronto, I suppose that possibly the only way to resolve this is to speak with an actual employee at the LM kiosk there.

OK, as I can't get the offer others get with extra data for auto top up for close to a year now, I'm leaving lucky tomorrow. I have tried and tried. Seems Lucky now has 0 support as well so, one last attempt I guess. Has anyone here figured out how to solve this? I am on a windows 10 computer and I'm very tech savvy. My card is for sure good as It's same card I use daily in life. I've had this issue since day one and nobody at Lucky seems to know but maybe trying again in here might get me somewhere.
Any thoughts or fixes, please let me know as it might save me having to go and get another sim.

Been this way for me for over 6 months. Nobody at Lucky cares. I myself am giving this one more shot at getting fixed them moving to a new carrier as I can't get the auto topup bonus.

Hey there @DickDawson,
When attempting to register an automatic top up and receiving the mentioned error "The credit card is not valid every time I try and sign up for auto top up!", it could mean that a block was added to your card or the billing information of your card doesn't match the one that you have on your Lucky Mobile account.
If a block was added by your credit card carrier, you will need to give them a shout to get it lifted.
If your billing info does not match and needs to be updated on your Lucky Mobile account, let us know and we will reach out accordingly to update your information.
Below you will find our accepted credit cards;
- Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, American Express (Canadian or U.S.)
- International credit cards are accepted for one-time Top-Ups only
- MasterCard Debit is not accepted
- Interac Debit is not accepted

I made a manual payment with my CIBC visa debit card took the payment but when I went to register the CIBC visa debit card for automatic top up over and over it keeps saying my card is invalid. I have no idea what is happening or what to correct as everything is the exact same. Can anyone help me with this and why does it keep saying that when everything is the same and not wrong.

Were you still having issues completing a top-up with your Visa Debit? If so, are you trying to complete the top-up in a web browser or via the app?
If in the app, we would recommend trying to top-up in a web browser by using this My Accountlink instead.

been trying with two different cards to pay for my plan for the last week+ on both the website and lucky mobile app but after i press top up it says technical difficulties. no charges have went through on either card

How come I can't add minutes to my phone through my visa debit card. It says difficulty issues.

Hey Folks:
Currently I have a MasterCard setup for Manual Top Up, using a PIN. I wanted to change this to my PC Money Account (which is in essence a MasterCard as well). Upon entering all of the card information and submitting it, this message appears:
An error has occurred. Please verify your entry and try again. An error occurred while saving the credit card information.
I though to myself, "hmmmm, maybe it's because it's essentially a prepaid card", so I tried two other regular credit cards, but upon entering each of those cards, I receive the same message. Now I was able to pay using a PC MasterCard, albeit manually entering the card information at the time of payment. That worked. But I cannot change the saved card information, for manual top up with a PIN.
Can anyone shed light on what the issue may be? Thanks in advance.

Lucky has suspended my account because my auto payment thru my credit card did not go through. My card expires in 2027 and there is plenty of credit available 🤷♀️. This also happened last month…went to a store to have this taken care of, had to buy a pre paid card for $20, even though I only have $15 monthly charged normally to my Visa. THEN after going thru all that inconvenience, my account gets suspended again the the 2nd month. I’m done! Poor customer service!
