How long will my location/call/message history be logged for?

I was wondering if anyone knew how long Lucky/Bell stores data that can be used to get my location and data to do with my calls and texts and if they share it with third parties without my consent? I'm a privacy focused user and am fine with my location and messages/calls being stored for a short period of time (like 3-6 months) but don't want to create a long term or even forever digital footprint

Good morning, @anon. Thanks for reaching out.

There isn't an explicit period for how long a person's usage history (calling, SMS, data usage, etc.) is retained; strictly speaking, it's kept for as long as we are legally obligated to, as well for as long it may be relevant to business operations, financial and tax recordkeeping, and security and fraud protection.

We'd recommend taking a look at our page on how We value your privacyOpens in a new tab or window for more details on how personal data is used and retained.

Let us know if you have any further questions. Best wishes.

I emailed the email address at the bottom of the privacy page and got the following response from Bell

"Dear [redacted],

Thank you for your email addressed to the Lucky Mobile Privacy Team.

Please note that Bell owns Lucky Mobile, thus we are responding.

Typically, information of this nature – in detail is retained for a period of 3 years and then subsequently purged.

If on legal hold, information would be kept for a longer period of time."

Can you give me a rough number for how long the data I asked about is typically kept for ignoring stuff like law enforcement requesting it be kept longer? Like in 6 months will my location data (like data that can be used for cell triangulation), SMS and call history be gone barring special circumstances?
