When I started with Lucky a few months ago, I was told that my plan includes unlimited texting worldwide, but that texting to short codes might involve extra charges. Nobody was able to tell me how to know which ones were OK and which involve extra charges. Is there some way to tell, or is it a state secret? Does anybody out there have any useful information?

Hi there @Combike, and welcome to the Community.
In most cases, short codes that carry charges are otherwise known as "premium programs". These are your subscriptions, participating in contests, or other third party alerts and notifications.
If you're uncertain whether or not a short code is considered a premium program, you can send HELP to the short code in question. You should receive a response with the following info:
- Program description
- Costs (if applicable)
- Message frequency
Inversely, if you're already subscribed and want them to stop, premium programs can be stopped by replying to a message with the word STOP.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
