Different sized SIM card

I had my iphone4 connected to Lucky.  I just bought an iphone8 and the SIM card doesn't fit.  The "8" will replace the "4" with the same number.  I guess I need a new SIM car but don't want to lose the info on the iphone4.  Help?

Hey there @GooseontheLoose, 

Yes, you're correct. If your current SIM card is to big, you will need to get a new SIM card.

It is also possible to transfer your data from your old phone to your new phone; Check out Use Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone or iPadto learn more.
