hey there, i just registered a sim card and chose the 25$ plan. i was charged twice. is that normal? does lucky charge 2 months when starting out? thank you

got charged 56$ for a 25$ plan after changing my plan a day before.

Welcome to Community,

It sounds like there may be an auto top-up active on your account and that a manual payment was also made at the same time which might explain the double charge. In the instance that it is the case, you can rest assured that the fund will still be on the account and available for any out of plan needs and/or to cover your next renewal.

So I just activated a lucky mobile SIM card. It activated fine. However after paying for the $35 plan it then told me I have a zero account balance and I had to make 2 payments of $35 to get the service active. This is new to me, my old lucky mobile service definitely didn't do this to me

Yesterday morning I topped up my account as usual. This morning I noticed a second charge on my bank account. I have contacted the bank and they informed me to call and talk to someone at Lucky. Is there any billing number or method to contact billing? I tried the chat and nothing.

Upon topping up my mobile thru the text msg. I proceeded to go to the website afterwards to set up for automatic top up so I wouldn't have to do it each month and the funds came out again... so it's paid twice for 1 month... so how do I go about reversing one, or does it go towards next month's?

In the instance that you were incorrectly charged twice, the system can potentially autocorrect the error. Have you verified recently if one of the payments was returned?

 

My account apparently topped up automatically this morning (approx. 9am atlantic time) but I mistakenly purchased an additional topup around the same time. I tried talking with the chat box service agent and he stated twice that their system only shows one topup, while my bank account quite clearly shows two. I really do need the money back from the mistakenly purchased topup but if LuckyMobile's system only shows one, what choices am I left with? The topups were purchased with a Visa debit card so I suppose I could do a chargeback but those take a while to process and I know merchants hate those and I'm worried my account might get canceled if I proceed with one. What can I do now?

I changed my plan last week lucky sent me a msg cuz I added over 30 dollars worth of extra data and they tell me with the 7 gb of data I got they were given me another 3gbs for next month and here I am already after just changen it, it didn’t change I changed the plan to a 35 dollar plan and it’s telling me I only paid for the 25 wasn’t supposed to be a 10 dollar add on too it now I’m almost outta data cuz lucky stuck me with the same friggen 25 dollar plan instead of the 35 dollar plan cuz half of them don’t understand English and now I don’t get paid till Tuesday and need my data cuz I don’t have internet where I live and paying for all this data and can’t find a wifi stick nowheres 

I changed the mobile plan last month and I used different credit card for the new plan. However, I received the bill which charged me a fee not only the fee for the current plan but also including the previous plan fee even though I changed the plan. I think this was caused by not using the same credit card for the current mobile plan but I'm not sure. Can someone explain how to stop double withdrawal?

Hey masa_mori,

If you have been charged twice, you should see a current balance in your account, so basically you can use that towards next month's payment.
