Are you and your boss using Android phones? If so, you may need to update your Google Messages apps - the chat / encrypted messaging feature in the app can cause messaging delays between different versions of the Messages app. We'd recommend both of you try updating your apps, turning off the chat feature, and trying again.
If you're not using Android phones, could you clarify a few more details?
- Are the delays happening with any other contacts, or just your boss?
- Is your boss's phone also with Lucky Mobile?
- Have you tried restarting your phone, or completing any other troubleshooting steps?
