Automatic top up bonus data

Hi,

I just activated the $30 Unlimited Can Min 1GB data at 3G Speed plan yesterday. On the website it says that the automatic top up bonus data is 4GB. I'm pretty sure it said the same thing when I was choosing the plan as well. However, when I log into my account, the plan details says the bonus data for automatic top up is 2GB. The fine print I received by email says the same.

I understand I will not get the bonus data until an automatic top up is made, however, I want to know if the 4GB will be honoured. And how likely is the amount in bonus data will change over time.

I've set up auto top-up and I should've got 4GB bonus data. Didn't see it in my data usage balance, why?

Any answers as to why the fine print in the plan details once I have signed up does not match what is advertised?

Hey rubberduck,

For the $30 plan with 5GB (1+4), there is no fine prints I believe, and usually the auto top up bonus is delivered right away if you have set it up while doing the activation. However, you might have to wait for the next month for the 4GB bonus, if you have set up the auto top up after the activation. 

I would also try getting in touch with customer service to get an update on why the bonus is not applied.

I do see the 2gb auto top up bonus showing up in a PDF as well as in the plan details.

I have since downloaded the lucky app (android) and I see the 4gb auto-top up bonus as a free add-on. So hopefully now that I have added that option, when the time comes I will get 4 gb instead of 2gb.

It is possible that for existing accounts, the information will remain linked to the former 2GB Auto Top-Up Bonus. However, by going in your rate plan change section, you will see the correct 4GB Auto Top-Up Bonus feature available to be added (the former 2GB Bonus will be replaced with the 4GB Bonus).

As long as your Auto Top-Up is registered properly, the bonus will become available within 24 hours after every successful Total Monthly Charge payments on your Monthly Charge Date.

One thing to keep in mind, if the Auto Top-Up is removed, the 4GB Bonus will automatically be removed as well and will not be able to be reinstated on the account afterwards. 

Let us know if you need any further assistance, such as in the case that the additional data doesn't turn up as intended.

I was in the same situation, I configured automatic top up during activation. Got no bonus data. Was waiting patiently for the automatic top up as was suggested here. Also was uncomfortable because my profile said 2 GB bonus while the website promised 4GB. One moderator above said not to worry, something is not updated but the bonus is indeed 4GB. Guess what, no 4 GB bonus as promised but only 2 GB bonus. Really??? I signed up with Lucky because of the bonus data promised.

Thank you @LuckyMobileAntgio for your response. Unfortunately there is nothing for me to follow on my end as I did what I was supposed to do. I subscribed when the offer on the website was stating 4GB bonus. I set my automatic top up at activation and I did not receive any bonus. At the next top up I received only 2GB instead of the promised 4GB. There is nothing else I can follow.

Did you try downloading the lucky app? I am on android and I saw the 4gb auto-top up bonus as a free add-on.

With the add-on, I have been getting the 4gb extra data (the add on will only last 12 months - I saw this as fine print somewhere, but I'm struggling to find it now)

Yes, I did. Both my app (iPhone) and web profile show the 1GB base data plus 2 GB top up bonus data instead of the 4 GB bonus. Also I checked  carefully the agreement (again) after you mentioned the fine print but there is no such fine print, the agreement clearly states "Set up Automatic Top-Up and get 4GB of bonus data every
month."

Same, I just purchased this and I only see 1GB+2GB. Lucky's auto pay didn't work, so I had to manually pay for the service for it to actually begin working...
