I’m a new customer. Some of my apps require a security code to be sent via sms to my phone. On all apps that require this, I don’t receive the SMS. I had no issues before switching to Lucky. If I select the option to get the code by phone call, it works. Just not by SMS. I have no issues sending or receiving SMS from friends and family.

Hey @BobBelcher,
That's odd ! But I already heard of a similar issue that might happen sometimes for newly transferred numbers. Can you please send a text to the short code number 28849 (with INFO or HELP) and it will reset the routing.
Once completed, the routing can take up to 24 to 48 hours to correct itself.

So I just paid for my pop up at a lucky mobile location. However, I can’t receive messages from third-party services such as Instagram,Facebook etc. For example: When I try to add my phone number to my Instagram, it says that it sent me a code to verify, but I’m not receiving this code??? SMS & MMS is on, so I’m not sure as to why it’s not working.

I just transferred my old number to lucky .. ever since I switched to Lucky, I have not been receiving short code MMS.. does lucky block them? And if so is there a way to unblock that? For example I’m trying to log into a website but it’s trying to send me a verification short code to my phone but I’m not receiving it.. (it’s happening on multiple sites) not just 1 specific one

My phone can send msg normally, but can't receive msg suddenly with no reason… so strange… who knows why?
can receive msg from my friend~ but can't receive one-time varification code sent by some website or bank… why?

I read this solution and tried it just now, will I receive a SMS from 28849 as a feedback? Or no? It will be okey by itself?

Hi there @Applemiaomiao.
You would not receive any confirmation response from 28849.
We recommend waiting 24 hours after sending the original message to 28849, then trying your two factor authentication again.

Oh Hello!
I've waited 48 hours since texting 28849 and I still can't receive 2fa from hatebook, any ideas?
When I did sms 28849 it replied to me with some twilio stuff. Why did i get this message and a link for "info" and for support contact support@twilio.com for "help".
I transferred over from shaw mobile. I'm more than happy to get a new number if that'll help fix it. I'm using this as a disposable number.

Forgive me, but I am an long time client and suddenly lost text reception so I switched phones and now the second phone is not receiving texts! I have just used 28849 but think there is a bigger issue with Lucky Mobile.

I have tried sending and receiving an SMS, but with no luck. I have the cheapest plan, but this apparently does include text messages.
I have seen a lot of messages on this forum from other people who have the same problem. Is this a technical issue? I specifically need 2FA to work properly and reliably.
According to your map I shouldn't have coverage. However, I do actually get one or two bars.
