The signal in my home is very weak and sometimes I cannot even place or receive calls, send or receive messages - other people in the same apartment building using Rogers don't have any issues - turning airplane mode on/off usually brings the phone back to a working state, although the signal is still on the low end - I read online that my several years old SIM card could be an issue. Is it worth trying a new SIM?

There is no signal in the basement, how did you solve it? Does it help if I buy a signal booster?

Hey there @Signal.

Thanks for reaching out to the Lucky Mobile Community 🙂

Many factors can limit signal strength, especially if you're indoors, other factors are topography, environmental conditions and line of sight to towers to name a few, there may also be tower congestions in your area.

When facing network issues, there are a few troubleshooting steps to complete:

Make sure your device is updated to it's latest version.

Assure your SIM is not damaged and also inserted correctly in the SIM tray.

Is the issue only happening indoors, or does it occur outdoors as well?

We also have a great Service Troubleshooting page on our website for you to review for tips and tricks.

Keep the Community posted.
