Can't add the Dollarama gift card in the Dollarama app

Hey! I recently got my $20 Dollarama gift card from topping up/paying for the Lucky mobile etc, but I can't seem to add gift card in the Dollarama app? I open the link from the text message and it directs me to the Dollarama app to download the app, which I already have.. I can't seem to find any option to add my gift card to my balance to the app..

I didn't receive a gift card with my sim card activation like I was supposed to.

We understood your question @BrendaB ,

If you look into the frequently asked questions, you will notice the following question and answer: Q: I received the text message with my Gift Card barcode. How do I redeem it? Click the unique luckymobilecan.ca link in the text you received and show your barcode to the cashier at checkout at any participating Dollarama location

If the Dollarama app is stopping you from receiving the barcode, you can delete the app and re-download it at a later time.

I have a barcode, it just doesnt open anywhere in the Dollarama app, I cant add my code in the app itself.

As detailed in our first response; the gift card can only be redeemed at participating Dollarama locations. Click on your unique link within the text message you've received and present the barcode to the cashier at a participating Dollarama location. The cashier will need to choose 'Select Card' instead of 'Gift Card' when completing the transaction.

So I received the barcode for the $20 Dollarama gift card. Went to Dollarama, and they wouldn't accept it. Do only some stores take then, or did they just have no idea what they were talking about??

I was sent a link to get the barcode for my $20 Dollarama gift card, but it's a dead link. It doesn't work!

How can it be? Why is it so difficult to get the Dollarama gift card???

The link looks like:

2. Show your barcode to a cashier at any participating stores

That is not a valid link!

the same thing happened to me and the link looks similar. I contacted support over and over again and they were unhelpful and one even told me to contact dollarama support about it. What are they going to do about it i dont even have a gift card number or anything?

Are you receiving an error code, is nothing loading, etc.

Dollarama Gift Card Issues

Dollarama Gift Card.

I have called a few times but never resolved the gift card issues. I was told i got a text with the info but no text. I spoke to customer service again and they gave me the link over the phone but again no luck she had to email the link but it went no where (see below).

I was told to try another internet browser to open the link didn't work so they said try the app for the store cant download it as i have android. I still would like the gift card because actually that was the reason i got the sim card as i often go to this store.

I just received. Dollama email for gift voucer but I am unable to click URL.

I am attached snip photo for your reference. I called customer service and no proper solution I receive.

Please solve this issue.
